Campaigns & UTM: know which push brought the lead

Attach your QR codes, forms, landing pages and message campaigns to one campaign with a canonical UTM set: clean tagged links, automatic email-link tagging, first-touch credit, and a funnel from scans to collected revenue.

A campaign groups everything you run for one push (QR codes, forms, landing pages and email sends) under one canonical UTM set. Every scan, view and click is recorded against the campaign, stitched to the lead it becomes, and followed all the way to collected revenue, so you can see which spend paid back.

How do I set up a campaign?

  1. Create the campaign

Name it (and its objective) on the Marketing screen. The campaign’s slug doubles as its utm_campaign, the canonical tag every link for this push should carry.
  2. Attach what belongs to it

Press Manage on the campaign and tick its dynamic QR codes, forms, landing pages and message campaigns. From then on their scans, page views and emails count for this campaign in the funnel, and a ticked dynamic QR code adds the campaign’s UTM tags to the link it opens. An item can belong to one campaign at a time: ticking one that sits in another campaign moves it. The same sheet sets the campaign’s status (draft, active, paused, archived).
  3. Tag every link you share

Use the UTM builder to stamp the campaign’s tags onto the links you put on posters, bios, ads and messages. Scans and clicks then record against the campaign and stitch to the leads they become.

What does the UTM builder actually fix?

Messy tagging makes marketing reports wrong. The builder writes clean links from your own vocabulary registry: aliases fold into one canonical value (fb and facebook stop being two sources), values are normalised, duplicate parameters are flagged, and a value outside your registry warns you before it pollutes reporting.

What is link auto-tagging?

Auto-tag campaign email links is on by default: links in a campaign’s emails pick up the campaign’s UTM set as they are sent. Your own tags are never overwritten; only the missing ones are filled in, so newsletter clicks stop showing up as “direct”.

How does attribution work?

Visitors are remembered anonymously from their first scan or page view; when one becomes a lead, their whole trail is stitched onto that lead. The funnel report credits each lead to the campaign of its first recorded touch. Last-touch and split (linear) credit are not something you can choose on a report yet. Ad clicks count too: a gclid or fbclid on the landing URL marks the source even without UTM tags.

How do I read the Marketing funnel report?

One row per campaign, four numbers: scans (QR scans recorded for the campaign), leads (touches that became a contact), deals won (won deals among those leads) and collected (payments actually recorded from them, not amounts merely invoiced). Totals at the foot tell you which push actually paid back.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need UTM tags on every link?

Campaign emails tag their own links automatically (auto-tagging is on by default). For everything else (posters, bios, ads), build the link once in the UTM builder with the campaign's tags and share it everywhere.

What's the difference between first-touch, last-touch and linear attribution?

First credits the touch that discovered you, last credits the touch just before conversion, and linear splits revenue evenly across every touch. It is computed to the paisa with the rounding remainder placed deterministically, so the totals always tie.

Why does the funnel report say 'collected' instead of revenue?

It counts payments you actually recorded from that campaign's leads, not invoices raised or deals promised. Hold a campaign budget against this number.

My Facebook links show as two different sources. Why?

Two spellings ('fb' and 'facebook') were used before the vocabulary registry folded them. Add the alias in the UTM builder's registry and future links normalise to one canonical source.
