Finocket for partners & affiliates

Every referral's journey to the rupee — accrued, held, eligible, paid — with locked monthly statements, automatic milestone tiers, and tax paperwork computed from the same ledger.

Partner
The Demystify Growth Partners programme, explained.

You send business; the maths should never be a mystery. Your partner portal shows every referral’s journey to the rupee (accrued, held, eligible, paid), and your monthly statement downloads with the numbers locked.

What a partner sees: what they have earned, what is still on hold, and the journey of each referral to the rupee (desktop view)

Your first day

  • Accept the program invite. Your portal links itself to your sign-up.
  • Share your referral link, coupon code or QR. Attribution works even without cookies.
  • Watch referred leads appear with their status; commission accrues only on collected revenue.
  • Your portal opens on an activation checklist (terms, tax details, your rate share, bank details, and your first referral or deal), so you always know what is left before you can be paid.

If more than one person signs in for your firm

A firm keeps one set of earnings and one statement. A colleague’s login is another way in, never a second partner identity. Each person signs in with their own email, and the top bar always reads the same way for everyone: your firm’s name, “Partner account”, and your role in it (Owner, Admin or Member). Your own email is shown at the top of the account menu. What differs between seats is which screens each one can open:

  • Owner or admin sees everything: statements and their approval, the commission figures on Home, the reseller dashboard, tax details and documents, promo codes and payout details, alongside every working screen.
  • Member sees the working screens: Home, Links, Customers, the lead board, registering a prospect (when your programme allows it), client workspaces and their setup health, resources, the Team list (to read) and Settings (to leave the firm). The firm’s money and paperwork (Statements, the reseller dashboard, promo codes and tax details) are not in a member’s menus, and if a member opens one from a saved link the page says to ask an admin on the team.

Your Team screen always shows who currently has a seat and which role they hold.

Where to find the portal again

If you also use Finocket to run your own business, the portal is a separate place from your books. It belongs to your relationship with the business that invited you, not to your own workspace. You reach it two ways, and both are always there:

  • The highlighted Partner portal button in the top bar, on a computer or tablet.
  • More on a phone, where it is the first thing in the sheet.
  • Your account menu: at the bottom of the side menu on a computer or tablet, and the icon at the top right on a phone.

Inside the portal, a computer or tablet shows every screen in the side menu, grouped into Work and Firm, so there is no More button to open. On a phone the four or five most-used screens sit along the bottom and the rest are under More.

Your account sits where it does in the rest of Finocket: on a computer or tablet it is the button at the bottom of the side menu, showing the email you are signed in with, and its menu opens right beside it; on a phone it is the account icon at the top right. Either way it shows the same list: Team, Settings, Go to my Finocket workspace (if you have one), and Sign out. On a phone, Go to my Finocket workspace also sits at the top of every portal screen, so the way back is always in sight.

The portal deliberately does not show your own business's menus, and your business's menus do not show the portal's figures. They are two different sets of books and mixing them would put one business's numbers on another one's screen.

Your rhythm

Weekly: share your link, check attributed leads. Monthly: review accrued vs eligible, download your statement; the business’s CA executes the payout and your tax paperwork (TDS 194H in India, a recipient-created tax invoice or RCTI in Australia, 1099-NEC in the US) is computed from the same ledger. Yearly: your annual totals are already on the statements; nothing to reconstruct.

A link for everyone on your team

If your firm has a team, each person can share their own link and QR, all under your firm. An owner or admin makes them on Links under Team links: pick the person, optionally name the link, and copy it or make a QR. A team member gets their own link the first time they open Links, and sees only theirs.

Team then shows who shared how much: clicks, QR scans, signups and paying customers for each person. Every signup is credited to your firm, and commission and statements work exactly as before. The link only records who shared it, never who gets paid.

When someone signs up with a team member’s link, the signup page can say who shared it. Whether it does, and whether your business name and logo appear, is your firm’s choice in Settings under Signup page, with a preview of exactly what they will see. Only a name is ever shown to them, never a team member’s email.

If you partner with more than one business

One sign-in covers all of them. Your portal opens on one business at a time and tells you which. It stays on the same one each time you come back, rather than picking one at random. Balances, referrals and statements always belong to the business named at the top; nothing is pooled across them, because each has its own programme, its own rate and its own statement.

Switching between them from inside the portal is coming. Until then, the invite link from each business opens that business’s view.

What the portal does and does not show

The portal is yours, not a window into the business’s books. You see what you earned and the referrals behind it. You do not see their invoices, their other partners, their customers’ contact details, or the rest of their Finocket workspace, and by default customer names appear as initials rather than in full.

If your access is paused

A business can pause a partner at any time. When yours is paused, the portal stops showing referral links, coupons, attributed leads and balances. Those close immediately, not at the end of the month. You can still sign in and reach your own profile and tax details, so you can see that it happened and put right whatever caused it.

Pausing affects access, not money already earned. Commission that accrued before the pause stays in the ledger and stays on the business’s statements; nothing is deleted and nothing is clawed back by pausing alone. Ask the business to lift the pause and your portal returns exactly as it was.

Taking a copy of your own record

You can download everything this business holds about you as a partner: what you referred, what you earned month by month, the statements you were paid on, and the terms you accepted with the date you accepted them.

Customers appear exactly as the business chose to show them to you. If you only ever saw initials, that is what the file contains. Their contact details are never included, because they are the business's data rather than yours. No other partner's figures appear either.

Amounts are in the smallest unit of the currency, so ₹500 reads as 50000 paise.

A free workspace of your own, if you qualify

If you sell or advise on Finocket itself as a reseller, a solution partner or a Chartered Accountant, reaching the Authorized tier and accepting the current partner terms qualifies you for a free workspace on Finocket, at your own business, not a second account. A reseller or solution partner gets Business-tier software; a CA gets a Growth-tier practice workspace with 120 AI credits a month, on top of the client portfolio your CA login already carries. Nothing you pay for elsewhere is included. The software is free; the metered consumables are not.

The grant lasts 12 months and renews. If your partnership is paused for more than 30 days the workspace becomes read-only until it is lifted; if it ends, the workspace steps down to a paid plan 60 days later, with a full export of your own books offered first, from inside that workspace’s own Profile. Nothing in the workspace is ever deleted at any point. A lapsed grant only changes which plan the workspace runs on.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose what someone sees on the signup page when they use our link?

Yes. In the partner portal, Settings has a Signup page card: one switch shows or hides your business name and logo, the other shows or hides who shared the link when it is a team member's. A preview shows exactly what they will see. Your firm is always named and always credited, and a team member's email is never shown.

Can an automation watch the commission for me?

Two are written and neither can be switched on yet. Commission that has fallen due reads what has come off hold against what has been paid out; The month's partner statements names a closed month whose statements have not gone. Both are listed in the agent catalogue and both are refused when you try to set one up, because nothing an agent can read reaches the commission ledger yet. A card that let you pay for a run that finds nothing every month would be worse than one that says so.

Would an agent ever pay a partner or send a statement?

No. Everything in the agent catalogue is read-and-report. Releasing a hold, paying a partner and sending a statement stay deliberate acts on their own screens. The commission ledger is append-only and an agent is not one of the things allowed to append to it.

I promote a shop's own online store and till, not a referred client. Is that a different kind of partner?

No, same portal, same ledger. A Shop affiliates programme credits you on a real sale (a storefront order or a till bill) instead of on a referred customer. Your Links screen carries your tracked link, code and QR; your Orders screen shows the sales attributed to you (masked to what the shop chose to share); everything else (holds, statements, tax) works exactly as it does for any other partner.

Where do I find the full programme FAQ on fees, TDS, GST and tiers?

On the public partner programme page (/for/partners), under Questions: 24 answers in one place, covering fees, commission, payout timing, tax paperwork, tiers and more. It's the same page whether you're still deciding or already a partner.

Partner

For you

Applying to the Finocket partner programme

Which track to choose, what the form asks and does not ask, why chartered accountants get benefits in kind rather than cash, and what happens after you apply.

Accepting a partner invitation

What the invitation link shows you before you agree, why it has to be the email it was sent to, and what happens the moment you accept.

Giving a partner your leads

Access and allotment are two separate acts: granting a pipeline says what a partner may do, allotting a lead hands them the work. What they see, what stays yours, and how revoking takes effect on their next action.

Registering a prospect

How a partner claims a prospect before working it, what each answer means, how the protected window runs, and why a similar name is reviewed rather than refused.

Your affiliate link, code and QR

The tracked link, the code and the QR a Shop affiliates partner shares: how a click is remembered, how a code works at the till, why a second code stays a request to the shop, and the share kit of messages, links and files the business prepares for you.

Which of your clients got stuck

How far each workspace you set up has got through its own setup checklist, what the client is stuck on, and how a nudge reaches them — setup progress, whether they are onboarded, and the state of their imports and certificates, never their figures or their books.

The sales your affiliate link brought

What a Shop affiliates partner sees about the sales attributed to them (the amount, the commission, the hold) and why a shopper's contact details are never part of it.

Your referred, allocated and provisioned customers

What a reseller, growth or CA partner sees at Customers: every referred, allocated or provisioned workspace, masked unless the customer agreed to share their contact (or the partner supplied it), reveal audited, relay when masked, and Open workspace for an accountant seat. It is also your client roster: last login, onboarding, first invoice, plan and trial per customer, a Needs attention list, search, and allocation across your team.

Getting paid as a Shop affiliates partner

How a monthly statement moves from draft to finalized to paid, what approving or disputing a line does, and why a PAN on file matters once your yearly earnings pass ₹20,000.
